Our privacy commitment

We have no commercial partnerships: the sole mission of our platform is to be the trusted third party that makes it possible for candidates, companies and employment stakeholders to meet.

Privacy, security and control over data are at the heart of how the 2 Minutes Max platform works.

Your email address is never disclosed to a Candidate, an Organization or any third party.

It is used exclusively to authenticate your account, secure access and ensure the proper operation of the services offered by 2 Minutes Max, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Professionals do not have access to a database of candidates. They only view the 2’MAX profiles that are voluntarily shared with them or that they are authorized to access as part of the services offered by the platform.

Each User remains in control of the information they choose to share. The features offered by 2 Minutes Max are designed to foster exchanges that are secure, confidential and respectful of personal data.

1. Scope and acceptance

These General Terms of Sale and Use (hereinafter the “GTSU”) govern the conditions of access to and use of the website www.2minutesmax.com (hereinafter the “Site”), the application available at https://app.2minmax.com (hereinafter the “Application”), and all the services offered by the company 2 MIN MAX (hereinafter “2 MIN MAX” or “the Company”).

These GTSU apply to anyone using the Site or the Application, including in particular:

a mere visitor;
a Candidate;
a Professional;
an Organization.

Any use of the Site or the Application implies full and unreserved acceptance of these GTSU.

2 MIN MAX reserves the right to amend these GTSU to reflect changes to the platform, the services offered or applicable regulations.

In the event of a substantial change, Users will be informed by any appropriate means. Continued use of the platform after the new GTSU come into force constitutes acceptance of them, subject to applicable legal provisions.

2. Definitions

For the purposes of these GTSU, the following terms have the meaning given below:

Application: the application published by 2 MIN MAX, available in particular at https://app.2minmax.com.
Site: the website available at www.2minutesmax.com.
Platform: the Site, the Application and all the digital services offered by 2 MIN MAX.
User: anyone using the Platform, with or without creating an account.
Candidate Account: a personal account allowing an individual to create, manage, share, deactivate, reactivate or delete one or more 2’MAX profiles, depending on the plan subscribed.
Candidate: any individual with a Candidate Account in order to create and share one or more 2’MAX profiles as part of a job search, a work-study contract, an internship, an assignment, an admission, a call for projects, a competition or any other project requiring a video presentation.
Professional Account: an account intended exclusively for professional use. Opening it may be subject to checks intended to confirm the applicant’s professional status.
Professional: any individual with a Professional Account and acting in the course of their professional activity.
Organization: any legal entity (company, public body, educational institution, training organization, recruitment agency, non-profit or any other structure) using the services offered by 2 MIN MAX.
2’MAX: a video presentation of a maximum of two minutes, created by a Candidate or, depending on the features offered by the Platform, by an Organization.
2’MAX Profile: the set made up of a 2’MAX and the information associated with it on the Platform, in particular its title, the elements needed to share it, and the features and statistics that apply to it.
Premium: a plan for Candidates giving access to additional features.
Sponsored Premium: Premium access funded by an Organization for the benefit of a Candidate, under the terms offered by the Platform.
PRO: a plan for Organizations giving access to advanced professional features.
PRO +: a plan for Organizations giving access to additional features, in particular for management, tracking, support and analysis.
Subscription: a contract providing access to one or more plans offered by 2 MIN MAX.

3. How the Platform works

3.1. Candidate Accounts

Creating a Candidate Account gives access to the features offered by 2 Minutes Max, depending on the plan chosen.

The Candidate may in particular:

create one or more 2’MAX profiles;
record, edit or replace their videos;
complete or update the information associated with their profiles;
share their 2’MAX profiles under the terms offered by the Platform;
deactivate or reactivate a 2’MAX profile;
permanently delete a 2’MAX profile or their Candidate Account.

The Candidate remains responsible for the information, documents and content they publish on the Platform.

3.2. Professional Accounts

The Professional Account is reserved exclusively for people using the Platform in the course of their professional activity.

2 MIN MAX may carry out any useful check to confirm the applicant’s professional status before activating a Professional Account.

The Company reserves the right to refuse or deactivate a Professional Account where the conditions of access are not met or where use of the services in breach of these terms is found.

The Professional only views the 2’MAX profiles that are voluntarily shared with them or that they are authorized to access under the features offered by the Platform.

The Professional never has access to a database of candidates.

3.3. Plans offered

2 Minutes Max offers various plans for Candidates and Organizations.

The features available depend on the plan subscribed and are presented on the Site or at the time of subscription.

The Company may change the content of its plans to improve the services offered, subject to compliance with ongoing contractual commitments.

3.4. Sharing and viewing 2’MAX profiles

2’MAX profiles are intended to be viewed only by the people to whom the Candidate or the Organization chooses to make them accessible, under the conditions provided by the Platform.

The viewing arrangements may change in order to improve security, the user experience or the operation of the services.

Viewing a 2’MAX profile may result in the recording of technical or statistical information needed for the operation of the Platform, the security of access, the production of statistics or the improvement of the services, in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

Under Sponsored Premium, these statistics may also be made visible to the Organization supporting the Candidate, with the Candidate’s consent.

3.5. Changes to features

2 MIN MAX regularly develops new features to improve the Platform.

Certain features may be added, modified, replaced or removed, in particular within the various plans offered, without affecting the rights acquired under ongoing subscriptions, unless otherwise provided by law or contract.

4. Personal data

2 MIN MAX attaches particular importance to the protection of its Users’ personal data.

Personal data is collected and processed in compliance with applicable regulations, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 (GDPR) and French law in force.

The purposes of processing, the categories of data collected, retention periods, data recipients and the rights of data subjects are detailed in the 2 MIN MAX Privacy Policy, accessible at any time from the Site and the Platform.

Each User undertakes to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information when creating their account and using the services.

5. Plans, subscriptions and billing

2 MIN MAX offers services that are free to use as well as paid plans for Candidates and Organizations.

The characteristics, features, prices and conditions applicable to each plan are presented on the Site or at the time of subscription (see the Pricing page).

Subscriptions are entered into for the term indicated at the time of subscription and are renewed as specified at the time of order, unless terminated under the conditions provided.

Payments are made using the payment solutions offered by 2 MIN MAX.

In the event of non-payment, 2 MIN MAX may suspend or limit access to the services concerned until the situation is regularized.

Prices may be changed for future subscriptions or upon renewal of a subscription, subject to prior notice to the User within a reasonable period.

6. Liability

Each User is responsible for their use of the Platform and for the information, documents, videos and content they publish or share.

The User warrants that the content they distribute does not infringe the rights of third parties, is not contrary to applicable regulations and is not unlawful, defamatory, insulting, discriminatory, fraudulent or an invasion of privacy.

The Candidate remains solely responsible for the information contained in their 2’MAX profile(s).

The Professional remains solely responsible for their use of the information viewed on the Platform.

2 MIN MAX acts as the publisher of the Platform and as host of the content published by Users. The Company does not intervene in the relationships between Candidates, Professionals and Organizations and cannot be held liable for decisions taken by Users following their use of the services offered.

2 MIN MAX uses reasonable means to ensure the availability, security and proper operation of the Platform. However, the Company cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation, nor be held liable for temporary interruptions, maintenance operations, technical incidents or events beyond its control.

7. Suspension, restriction and deletion of accounts

2 MIN MAX may suspend, restrict or delete all or part of access to the Platform when a User:

fails to comply with these GTSU;
uses the Platform fraudulently, abusively or contrary to its purpose;
infringes the rights of third parties or the proper operation of the services;
provides manifestly inaccurate information when creating their account or while using it.

Where circumstances allow, 2 MIN MAX informs the User concerned beforehand and gives them the opportunity to submit their comments or to remedy the situation within a reasonable period.

In the event of a serious breach, fraud, identity theft, a breach of the Platform’s security or a legal obligation, the account may be suspended or deleted without notice.

The User may delete their account at any time under the terms offered by the Platform. Such deletion does not affect the legal or contractual obligations that remain applicable, in particular regarding billing or the retention of certain data where required by regulation.

8. Intellectual property

The Platform, the Site, the Application, their architecture, developments, databases, visual identity, texts, logos, trademarks, illustrations and, more generally, all elements protected by intellectual property law are the exclusive property of 2 MIN MAX or are the subject of a right of use duly acquired.

Any reproduction, representation, distribution, extraction, adaptation or exploitation, in whole or in part, without the prior written authorization of 2 MIN MAX is prohibited.

The videos, documents, texts, images and content published by Users remain their property.

By publishing content on the Platform, the User grants 2 MIN MAX a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license, limited to the period during which the content is made available and strictly necessary for the hosting, storage, distribution, securing and operation of the services offered.

This license ends upon the permanent deletion of the content, subject to applicable legal retention obligations.

9. Governing law and dispute resolution

These GTSU are governed by French law.

In the event of any difficulty relating to their interpretation, performance or validity, the parties will endeavor to find an amicable solution.

Failing an amicable agreement, the dispute will be brought before the competent French courts, subject to mandatory legal provisions applicable to consumers.

10. Miscellaneous provisions

The fact that 2 MIN MAX does not rely, at any given time, on a provision of these GTSU cannot be interpreted as a waiver of the right to rely on it later.

If any provision of these GTSU were declared null, unlawful or unenforceable, the other provisions would remain fully in effect.

These GTSU constitute the entire agreement between 2 MIN MAX and the User regarding use of the Platform. They replace any earlier version on the same subject.
